Social Media Volunteer

Could you help us to promote the project’s findings via our social media outlets?

Surrey in the Great War’s social media feeds will carry a range of the project’s findings. Volunteers are needed to select findings suitable for publication on Twitter or Facebook, turn the information into an engaging format and publish it.


Output:
a strong online presence for the project and the publication of resources via social media.

Location: flexible: you could be based at Surrey History Centre in Woking or at another library location in Surrey; some volunteers will be able to work from home using their own computer.

About You
We hope that you will have –

•    Interest, enthusiasm and accuracy
•    Willingness to participate in volunteer training in digital technologies
•    Basic computer skills or willingness to learn these
•    Willingness to respect copyright restrictions
