General Sir Richard Loudon McCREERY (1898-1967)

Just before the outbreak of the Second World War, Sir Richard was living at Runwick House, Alton Road, Farnham with his wife, Lettice and two of his sons, Michael and Robert. He had served in France with the 12th Lancers in the Great War and received the Military Cross. He went on to have an equally distinguished military career during the Second World War.
