Join us for a very special family event to celebrate the end of the First World War at Langley Vale Wood, the Woodland Trust's First World War Centenary Wood. Explore our field hospital, find out what troops were fed on the front line and have a go at infantry training. Learn camouflage and fire lighting survival skills and try your luck at wartime funfair games. Much more including crafts, apple press, family games, food stalls and a picnic area. The event opens at 11 and closes at 4pm. Tickets in advance: Individual tickets: Adults £10; Children £5 (free for under 2s); Concessions £5 (over 65 and students). Family ticket: £25 (2 adults, 2 children). Parking is available on site. Picnics welcome! Did you know that Langley Vale Wood and surrounding Tadworth was home to troops during training, before being deployed to the front line? Our living historians will bring stories from troops to life during the event. Sat 21-07-18 @ 11:00
